What Is A Home Inspection?

A home inspection is a non-invasive, visual examination of the accessible areas of a property and is designed to identify deficiencies and defects within specific systems and components (as defined by the InterNACHI Standards of Practice, nachi.org/sop.htm).  These issues are to be both observed and deemed by the inspector to have a significant adverse affect on the property or pose an unreasonable risk to people.

Once the inspection is complete, you will be provided with a report detailing the inspector’s findings.  The inspector will spend time with you going over the information in the report so you can have a clear understanding of the report.
